Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) follows the same vein of train as Judo with emphasis on sparring (randori) rather then the old style of training through form (kata). BJJ places more focus on groundwork utilizing chokes and joint manipulations to finish an opponent. This martial art prides itself on teaching its students to use leverage and momentum to be able to defeat and bigger and stronger opponent
